Samantha Siegel, M.S., M.Ed.

Ms. Siegel is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in the provision of psychotherapy and group support services with individuals of all ages and their families. Ms. Siegel is passionate in helping individuals cope with various conditions such as fertility issues, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem, relationship concerns, chronic health concerns (e.g., cancer and women’s health diagnoses), parenting, and life transitions. She uses a supportive, evidence-based and collaborative approach when working with patients.

Ms. Siegel has advanced training and experience working with individuals from infancy through adulthood. She received a Masters of Science in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, with an emphasis in developmental psychology and completed her associated internship in the Psychiatry Department at Charity Hospital New Orleans. Following this degree, Ms. Siegel received a Masters of Education in Counseling from The University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, an accredited program by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Her associated internship was completed at Galaxy Counseling Center, a non-profit organization where she conducted play therapy with young children, individual therapy with teens and adults, and addressed complex family systems issues within a family therapy context. Ms. Siegel currently holds a certificate in the specialty of Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International.

Following her academic training, Ms. Siegel completed a 3000-hour post-graduate internship in local private practice settings including Therapy on the Square in McKinney, Texas and the Center for Social Success in Dallas, Texas. During this tenure, Ms. Siegel counseled children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with social, emotional and behavioral concerns and led psychoeducational groups focused on parenting skills, the parent-child relationship and social skills development. For the past several years Ms. Siegel has worked in group and individual private practice settings.
