Position Description
Behavioral Health Dallas, PLLC is seeking an outstanding clinical or counseling psychologist for a full-time position in a rapidly growing private practice setting. The position will focus primarily on providing psychotherapy with adults and couples with the opportunity to collaborate with medical clinics and hospital systems. This position offers monthly CE and other learning opportunities, a positive work culture, a flexible and family-friendly lifestyle, and the opportunity for a combination of in-office and telehealth services from home.
Practice Information
Behavioral Health Dallas, PLLC is an outpatient, private mental wellness practice that specializes in health psychology intervention. Primary referrals consist of women’s health issues, depression, anxiety, life adjustment, and marital distress. BHD is also currently expanding both its psychiatry division and infant and pediatric mental health services. In addition to these unique areas of practice, we are routinely called upon to teach, train, coach, and collaborate with various medical professionals and hospital systems in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
Compensation
The accepted candidate will be hired as a W-2 employee. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will be commensurate with earning potential. BHD offers competitive compensation packages with opportunities for advancement.

Behavioral Health Dallas, PLLC is offering one full-time Post-Doctoral Fellowship position for the 2025-2026 academic year in the area of Women’s Mental Health. BHD seeks applicants who are interested in providing behavioral health and psychological services in the private practice setting. Duties and responsibilities include (1) providing both brief and longer-term outpatient therapy (2) collaborating and consulting with physicians and (3) facilitating support and psycho-educational workshops/groups. This position offers opportunities to collaborate with a large and growing team including psychologists, counselors and a psychiatrist with collective expertise in women’s health, sexual health, maternal-infant mental health, pediatric psychology and couple therapy. Our practice works both in a telehealth and in-person capacity. Upon successful completion of the fellowship, a long-term position may be offered.
The Women’s Mental Health position will be supervised by Dr. Margaret Vadiee, and will primarily focus on individual and couple work with teens and adults. This position will receive secondary supervision from Dr. Katie Sardone, BHD Owner and Certified Perinatal Mental Health expert.
Behavioral Health Dallas, PLLC is a private practice in Dallas, Texas located across the street from Texas Health Resources at Walnut Hill and 75. BHD specializes in providing evidence based, insight-oriented, and supportive mental health care for women and everyone in their family. A large percentage of patients at BHD are women’s health referrals directly from medical providers (e.g., perinatal mood disorders, infertility, and birth-trauma). In addition to working with this population, the fellow would have the opportunity to work with both men and women in various health and general mental health capacities (e.g., mood and anxiety management, life adjustment, chronic illness management and family dynamic challenges).
Requirements for the position include: (1) Graduation from an APA-accredited doctoral program with an emphasis in clinical or counseling psychology (2) successful completion of an APA-accredited internship program with demonstrated competence in clinical and/or counseling by the start date of the fellowship (estimated to start in August 2025) and (3) preferred experience or interest in working with Women’s Mental Health.
Compensation
The postdoctoral fellow can expect compensation in the form of a $55,000 stipend.

Historically, a large percentage of patients at BHD have been referred directly from women’s health providers for issues related to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, health concerns, and general mental health issues (e.g., depression, anxiety, and adjustment). In recent years, the pediatric population at BHD has been growing rapidly. In order to better serve these families, we are expanding our pediatric and parenting services. Services with this population include, but are not limited to, general clinical child services (e.g., mood and anxiety concerns, behavioral management, managing developmental and learning challenges and parental relationship concerns), maternal-infant attachment intervention, and evidence-based parent training and consultation (e.g. PCIT).
