Nyaz Didehbani, PhD

Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Nyaz Didehbani is a Licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist specializing in neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessment across the lifespan with a special interest in examining individuals with neurocognitive disorders and sports-related concussion. 

She has served in a number of local and national leadership roles including the Chair for the Women in Leadership Committee of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, as a Delegate for the Cultural Neuropsychology Counsel and on the Executive Board of the Sports Neuropsychology Society. She has published in numerous academic journals and presents both nationally and internationally. 

Dr. Didehbani is passionate about helping individuals better understand their cognitive abilities and mental wellbeing. She utilizes comprehensive neurocognitive assessments to clarify diagnosis to inform treatment planning and recommendations. Dr. Didehbani utilizes an evidence-based approach that is holistic and individualized.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Didehbani provides comprehensive cognitive evaluations for ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, Aging, Dementias, Alzheimers, Sports related injury or concussion, and more.

Dr. Didehbani received her doctorate in Clinical Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine from the University of North Texas. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. She is a fellow in the Sports Neuropsychology Society and National Academy of Neuropsychology. She also serves as a consultant to the Dallas Stars. 

Dr. Didehbani is licensed in Texas. She has been approved by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards and the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) to provide teletherapy to individuals in the following states:
