Dr. Aysha Najjab is a Licensed Psychologist and provides individual, couple, and group therapy for older adolescents and adults. She is passionate about helping individuals from all backgrounds who want to improve their mental and emotional well-being. Dr. Najjab uses a supportive, evidence-based and collaborative approach to therapy. She recognizes the importance of working holistically to address how a client’s life might be impacted by past experiences, relationships, health, and socio-cultural factors. Dr. Najjab is currently serving on the executive committee of the Dallas Psychological Association as a former president of the organization. She earned a certificate in the specialty of Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International.

Dr. Najjab works with clients experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, stress, chronic health issues, and life transitions. She has led psycho-educational, skills-based, and supportive therapy groups focusing on Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, cancer diagnosis, caregiver burnout, stress management, interpersonal distress, and emotion regulation.  ​

Dr. Najjab completed her doctoral training and APA-accredited internship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. During her training she worked with adolescents and adults across a variety of clinical and health settings including Moncrief Cancer Institute, the Parkland Psychiatric Emergency Room, the SMU Counseling Center, and the Dallas County Juvenile Justice Center. Previously, she received her bachelor’s degree in Honors Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Najjab is licensed in Texas (her home state). She has been approved by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards and the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) to provide teletherapy to individuals in the following states:
