More Than Blue:
Screening & Skills Workshop
This interactive CE workshop pairs the acclaimed documentary More Than Blue with hands-on clinical training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). Participants begin with a foundational overview of PMADs and gold standard assessment strategies, then apply these tools directly by completing a case-based handout modeled on one of the documentary's real participants. After screening the film, the workshop closes with a facilitated discussion and expert panel, giving attendees the chance to connect clinical concepts to lived experience and ask questions of professionals in the field. Participants will leave with practical screening skills, a completed case worksheet, and a deeper understanding of how to recognize and respond to PMADs in practice.
Come join us for a moving morning of storytelling and clinical insight. More Than Blue pairs real, lived experience of PMADs with rigorous science. Following the screening, participate in an interactive workshop and candid conversation with four perinatal specialists on recognizing, treating, and referring PMADs with confidence.
Come for the film — leave with tools you can use in session Monday morning.
This event is eligible for CE credit through the American Psychological Association.
