Priscilla Rogers-Fahy, PsyD

Dr. Priscilla Rogers-Fahy is a Licensed Psychologist who provides individual psychotherapy to adults and teens in English and Spanish. Dr. Rogers-Fahy is passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds whose physical health may be impacting their mental and emotional well-being. She values an interdisciplinary and collaborative treatment approach in which she provides supportive and evidence-based care.
Dr. Rogers-Fahy has advanced training in psychotherapy, health psychology intervention, and psychological assessment. She has an extensive history of providing comprehensive care to individuals and groups experiencing a range of both mental health (e.g., depressed mood, anxiety, trauma, women’s issues and marital distress) and medical issues (e.g., perinatal and fertility concerns, cancer, diabetes, HIV, chronic pain, and hepatitis C). Dr. Rogers-Fahy has led a variety of support groups utilizing a health psychology perspective to enhance well-being and functioning (e.g., breast cancer and those coping with liver disease).
Dr. Rogers-Fahy received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior at University of California, Irvine, her master’s degree at California School of Professional Psychology, and her doctoral degree at California School of Professional Psychology. Following her formal training, she completed a postdoctoral residency program at State University of New York, Purchase where she focused on health psychology and outpatient psychotherapy intervention. Following her fellowship, she accepted a staff psychology position at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Hospital in New York where she worked for nearly seven years providing psychological intervention and supervision of intern and practicum students in an APA-Accredited Internship. She also holds a certificate in the specialty of Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International.
Dr. Rogers-Fahy is licensed in Texas (her home state). She has been approved by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards and the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) to provide teletherapy to individuals in the following states:
