Raney Sachs, PhD
Postdoctoral Fellow
Dr. Raney Sachs is a Postdoctoral Fellow with specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). She provides comprehensive individual therapy and psychological assessment services to children and adults.
Dr. Sachs’s practice integrates evidence-based intervention with individualized and compassionate care. She has experience treating a wide range of presenting concerns, including depression, suicidality, anxiety, OCD, trauma-related disorders, and family relationship concerns. Dr. Sachs has worked with individuals, families, and groups in a variety of contexts, including outpatient mental health, medical centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and educational settings. She has experience providing assessment and treatment for a range of clinical presentations.
Dr. Sachs completed her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, an APA-accredited program. She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Children’s Health in Dallas, where she specialized in individual, group, and family therapy with high-risk adolescents at the Suicide Prevention and Resilience at Children’s (SPARC) intensive outpatient program. During her internship she also developed expertise in dialectical behavioral therapy for adolescents and adults. Dr. Sachs received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Plan II Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
