Emma Reutimann, PhD

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Emma Reutimann is a Licensed Psychologist providing individual psychotherapy to adults. Her approach draws from evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and is tailored to each patient’s goals and circumstances. Dr. Reutimann takes a warm, collaborative approach to care and values working alongside medical providers and other members of a patient’s care team.

Throughout her training and clinical career, Dr. Reutimann has worked with individuals and groups across a range of settings, including outpatient mental health clinics, medical centers, and inpatient hospitals. She has experience treating a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, and trauma-related disorders. She has a passion for supporting individuals navigating acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as family members and loved ones who may be impacted by a person’s illness or medical care.

Dr. Reutimann completed advanced training in health psychology and clinical research during her fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center, where she developed expertise in psychological assessment, psychotherapy, behavioral health interventions, and pre-surgical psychological evaluation. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from UT Southwestern Medical Center, an APA-accredited program, and completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Parkland Health and UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center. Her internship training included rotations in psycho-oncology and consult-liaison psychology. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences with a minor in Biological Sciences from the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Reutimann is licensed to practice in Texas and is accepting new patients beginning October 20th, 2026.
